Dropbox App For Mac Not Working

Sep 20, 2017 Dropbox’s website clearly states that the app is already updated for iOS 11 and the files app. But I am also seeing the same thing with Dropbox in the files app. I really want this to work. I use dropbox on my iPhone and iPad every day. Sep 24, 2015  There was a problem between Dropbox and Mac OS 10.10 that the 10.10.1 update fixed. I don't know if the 10.10.5 update is causing these issues again or not.I haven't seen anything on it until this thread. I'm not running Yosemite here so I can't confirm either way. No one has confirmed specifically on this thread either, yet.

The 404 error started appearing after reinstalling the 1Password app - so yes, it is after the 5.1.2 update. Before I did the reinstall (but after the update) I got another kind of error which appeared after a bit of 'downloading encryption keys'. It was not a 404 error but unfortunately I can't remember the exact wording.

The Dropbox app seems to work fine. I have tried disabling the passcode lock in Dropbox since I fairly recently enabled that and I figured that might have caused the problem - that didn't make any difference, though. My Dropbox account seems to work fine, both through Safari and via the app.

As for the Mac problem the notification said '1Password Sync - Problem detected - Update preferences'. When I opened the preferences in 1Password it still says 'Syncing with Dropbox' and the path points to the 1Password keychain in Dropbox. However, when I clicked the 'Fix' button in the notification I was sent to the same preference pane but with a requirement to choose sync option. I chose the 1Password keychain and was told a merge was required. I accepted. Now the status says 'Never synced.' and I don't know how to try to force it to sync.
